He was deputy campaign manager for Donald Trump's 2016 campaign alongside Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon, and before that served as chief investigator for the House Committee on Government Reform and Oversight during the Clinton investigations and on the Senate Whitewater committee. He has written many books and produced conservative documentary films, including the Hillary Clinton film that became Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission at the Supreme Court in 2010. He cast his first presidential vote for Ronald Reagan in 1984.
